I am a recent graduate of the M.Arch program at the University of Utah, with two years of work experience specializing in 3d modeling and design development. My undergraduate degree is in History, but I began my college career practicing fine art, glass sculpture in particular. These early pursuits are apparent in both my interest in architectural theory, and my passion for digital fabrication. In my spare time I run a small fabrication lab out of my home, consisting of a 3d printer, cnc mill and glass kiln.
I have a particular interest in and talent for architectural technology with experience in a wide variety of softwares, from 3d modeling suites (rhino, revit, autocad architecture, sketchup) to render engines (3ds max, maxwell render, v-ray) and 2d graphics (autocad, photoshop, illustrator, indesign) as well as some more specialized applications for parametric design (grasshopper, dynamo) and interactive facades (arduino, firefly).
I am looking for a firm with other passionate, driven individuals who agree that pillow forts are a legitimate art form, and a sense of child-like wonder is the best measure of architectural success.
